The first annual Colorado River Medical Center Needles River Rat Off-Road Poker Run will come to Jack Smith Memorial Park on March 14, 2020. Registration is now open for the inaugural event, which will welcome off-road vehicles of all types to a 35-mile course that runs to Park Moabi and back. Music on the River; Poker Run Instructions; St Joe River Rats. A Fun Group of People. River Rats Poker League. Poker tournaments within Taree/Forster/Wingham/Nabiac. The river or river card is the final card dealt in a poker hand, to be followed by a final round of betting and, if necessary, a showdown. In Texas hold 'em and Omaha hold'em, the river is the fifth and last card to be dealt to the community card board, after the flop and turn.

Peace Island Park Playground Project Andrew Burrows, BC Peace Country River Rats Mr. Burrows expressed appreciation to the District's grant writer and staff for their assistance, and provided an update on efforts to obtain funding and donations to complete the Peace Island Park Playground Project. Discussion ensued around grant application submissions and costs associated with project completion.Mr. Burrows advised that apporximately $50,000 is required to complete the project and requested that Council consider providing sponsorship to assist with project completion. Council thanked Mr. Burrows for his presentation. |

8.4 | BC Peace Country River Rats Request for Forgiveness – Poker Rally Event - Staff Memo Lisa Ford, Executive Assistant Discussion ensued around the Peace Island Park caretaker's procedure for collection of payment for camping sites.It was noted that the BC Peace Country's River Rat's letter states that any camping units within the spaces outlined in the request will pay the camping rate to the caretakers prior to leaving the event.It was also noted that the procedure for patrons visiting Peace Island Park is that they are expected to stop and provide payment for camping sites prior to site use.Council requested that staff follow-up with the Peace Island Park caretakers to inquire about whether payment arrangements for camping sites have been made with the BC Peace Country River Rats.
